Metro Denver was recently ranked #2 by "Fortune" magazine in "Best Places to Live" in our fine nation. Unfortunately, you'll find Denver lacking in lake communities compared to many parts of the country. I can help you find a waterfront home or community utilizing a lake in Metro Denver that will fill that void. A lake front property can still be an ideal location! (Swimming lessons advised-bait and tackle optional!)
Pick from over 75 Metro Denver golf courses to live on. Irwin, Nicklaus, Dye, are just a few of the designers that have contributed to our fine list of local golf courses. Enjoy living in a house, patio home, townhouse or condominium with golf course views. (Guaranteed to have an effect on your blood pressure! Effect directly correlates to golf swing!)
Most people are drawn to Colorado because of the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. A house with a city or mountain view will add to your daily pleasure of the home. (Warning: surveys indicate romantic benefits!)
Unfortunately, because of costs, most new construction in town is occurring on small lots. Yes, the homes are spectacular, but you typically end up looking directly into your neighbor's windows--learning more about them than you may want! Always pick the location over the house. You can fix the house, but you can't fix the location. Picking a nice location in a horse property or larger lot can give you the privacy that you desire! (Statistics show that nudists and exhibitionists who live on larger lots get fewer complaints!)
There are beautiful places to live in the mountains that are a mere 45-minute drive from Downtown Denver. Although many will find this too long a drive, it's perfect for the business person who might only have to travel into town several days a week. (Enjoy the Wildlife-lions, tigers and bears, oh my! Okay, maybe not the tigers.)
Metro Denver is a very safe city to live in. However, there is a nice variety of gated communities to pick from. These communities offer extra security in an age where crime and violence are often random. (We still have our cowboys and sheriff's and such!)
I kid my clients that they should always ask the opinion of their lawyer, their accountant, their financial advisor, even their mother-in-law. Although I joke about it, times have changed. These days you call your lawyer if you have a legal question. You call your accountant if you have a tax question. You might even check with your financial advisor. Don't you need to add to this list a Realtor that you can trust? I want to be your Realtor until the year 2015. (Retirement plans will then be implemented!
